ESPN responded by pointing out that College GameDay had slightly more viewers, with 2.9 million tuning in when they battled head to head in the 11 a.m. ET hour on Saturday. As Timothy Burke points out, however, "who won is not (or shouldn't be, IMO) the issue here. It's that anyone can even be competitive with ESPN for the time slot College GameDay has owned for decades." ALSO: ESPN's The Dan Le Batard Show mocks Fox Sports.
