"Eventually," says Lyndsey Parker, "MTV Unplugged didn’t just change the lexicon. It changed music, television, and pop culture in general — introducing Eric Clapton and Tony Bennett to a new generation, helping hip-hop cross over, kickstarting the KISS reunion, and inadvertently memorializing Kurt Cobain."
