Carsey-Werner Television says it has received interest from four buyers, including Netflix, for the Fox comedy that aired from 1998 to 2006 and whose rights will be up soon. Since 2011, That '70s Show has been streaming on Netflix, where Nielsen says it's the streaming service's 15 most-watched series. That '70s Show is one of 10 comedies Carsey-Werner says may be valuable in streaming marketplace when they become available in the coming years. Other comedies include Roseanne, Cybill and 3rd Rock from the Sun. |
