Does anybody agree that Oliver Otto and his sister Taylor from the current series American Housewife hold the spirit of Alex and Mallory Keaton? Like Alex on Family Ties, Oliver is a money hungry, entrepreneurially minded young man whose desire to be rich conflicts with his father's artsy ways and his mother's disdain for the wealthy neighbors. Meanwhile, Taylor like Mallory could be a total airhead type.

Yes! I considered Oliver to be the Alex Keaton of this century. He & Alex have quite a few things in common besides money. both have girlfriends who were into ballet, both are smart driven young men, both work a hotline, both have come up with ways to make money. as for Taylor, i think she is getting dumber but means well and her bf Tripp could be a good Nick.
