Big Brother Season 1 contestant Cassandra Waldon dies at 56

In 2000, Waldon became the first-ever contestant to enter the American Big Brother house. TMZ reports Waldon was hit by a car and suffered a head injury two months ago and never regained consciousness. She died on Sept. 25. "Rest In Peace Cassandra," Julie Chen posted in a tribute on Instagram. "Your light will continue to shine in this world because of the way you lived your life: with class and grace. May your family and loved ones find solace and peace. Thank you for bringing your intelligence, warmth and wisdom to the Big Brother house Season 1. You are in my thoughts and in my prayers. May God Bless your soul." |
