Gilligan's Island castaways as superheroes - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Suppose the castaways find a tropical berry that gives them super powers. What kind of heroes would each one become? What kind of superhero team would they have?

Would the berry enhance their natural abilities, like the Professor becoming super intelligent, maybe Mr. Howell has Midas like ability to turn things to gold? What is a super-Gilligan?

Well, if he found a berry that gave him the same superhuman strength he had when he ate that radioactive spinach (but with no adverse side-effects), he could be a SUPERGOOF- able to turn aircraft carriers into metal shards using just his bare hands as easily as he managed to turn the Minnow into a pile of useless boards by overgluing everything! Perhaps the Professor might see if he could either jump to the Hawaiian mainland (but Gilligan would likely just escape the Earth's gravity and float into outer space) OR Gilligan to attempt to THROW the other Castaways there! But then Skipper and the Professor would probably conclude that Gilligan would just mess that up,too. His Kryptonite, would be being too intimidated by Ginger's advances yet still not willing to hurt a lady to fend her off!
