Default Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 10 arrives in January, according to Adam Carolla

https://www.thewrap.com/curb-your-en...a-larry-david/

Carolla said on his The Adam Carolla Show podcast that he bumped into David at the Alec Baldwin roast last week. “He said that ‘I think Curb is coming out in January, and that he would then come on (the podcast) when Curb was coming on,” Carolla told his listeners Friday.

That's not very far away. You'd think we'd be getting some promotional stuff by now.

Jeff Garlin: Curb Your Enthusiasm returns in January

HBO hasn't made an official announcement on when the 10th season of the Larry David comedy will premiere, but Garlin wrote on Instagram that Curb will be back in January

Jeff Garlin: Curb Your Enthusiasm returns Jan. 19 -- and will feature Vince Vaughn not playing himself

“It’s my favorite season,” Garlin says of Season 10 of the Larry David HBO comedy, in an interview with The Last Laugh podcast. “I know there are other seasons that people will like as much, if not more, but for me, the premise of (this) season is my favorite one we’ve ever done.” HBO has yet to announce the premiere date premiere date, but Garlin says Season 10 premieres Jan. 19. Garlin also revealed that True Detective alum Vince Vaughn will return to HBO, playing a different character other than himself on Curb in a multi-episode arc. Garlin added that the show will address Bob Einstein, who died in January at age 76. “That was such a hit to all of us at Curb Your Enthusiasm, because he was our friend,” Garlin says. “And we rose above it, but boy that hurt.” While Einstein doesn't appear in the season, his character Marty Funkhauser will be mentioned. “By the way, no, we don’t talk about his character dying on the show,” he says. “Why do we need that on a comedy show? That doesn’t fit on our show. There is no melancholy on Curb Your Enthusiasm.”

Watch Larry David's new Curb Your Enthusiasm teaser featuring Rebecca Romijn

Romijn plays a receptionist in the HBO comedy's "Waiting Room" teaser.

HBO unveils Curb Your Enthusiasm's official Season 10 trailer featuring Jon Hamm, confirms Jan. 19 premiere date

The Season 10 trailer features appearances by Hamm, Kaitlin Olson, Jane Krakowski, Fred Armisen and Laverne Cox.

Larry David proudly hasn't changed in the 20 years since Curb Your Enthusiasm premiered

“He’s back. And nothing has changed," touts an HBO promo for Season 10, premiering Sunday. Ben Lindbergh recently rewatched Season 1 and parts of Season 9, and says he "was struck by how little difference the 17 years between them made. Time hasn’t taught TV Larry how to play well with others, and he hasn’t talked others into living like he does. His surroundings have changed in one noteworthy way: Cheryl moved out, and Leon moved in." Curb is able to stay constant because HBO doesn't dictate the pace of production. "David makes new seasons whenever he has new ideas, not when the broadcast schedule says so, so it makes sense that the quality of the output wouldn’t fluctuate wildly," says Lindbergh. "And because Curb comes and goes, it doesn’t wear out its welcome: Its 10-episode seasons last less than three months, and by the time the show returns, the preceding season is distant enough that the old seems somewhat new again. More than that, though, this immutability stems from the fact that for better or worse, David largely hasn’t tried to adapt to shifting tastes, borrow from flavors of the month, overhaul his craft, or comment on current cultural events. His humor, and his series, stay in their well-liked, lucrative lane." ALSO: Curb presents "The Sounds of Susie."
