Why do people seem to hate Family Guy so much? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

When it first aired in 1999, Family Guy was a welcome addition to the changing world of animation. It was funny, had likable characters, was well-drawn, cleverly written, bitterly sarcastic, politically incorrect, and generally just a care free show. Seth MacFarlane and his crew weren’t afraid to push the boundaries and practically give the FCC the middle finger.

Fast forward to 2019, the show has seen an exponential decline in popularity. Every year its ratings only seem to get worse. What happened?

First...McFarlane has to push his political opinions on us (atheism, liberalism, and other sorts of isms).
Second...The Griffins are now total jerks!
Third...I made a list awhile ago on "Cartoon Characters Who Can NEVER Live In The Real World"...and here's the list...
