Warner Bros. TV wants to add the iconic Central Perk orange couch in front of the Friends New York City West Village apartment temporarily starting on Sept. 21 in celebration of the 25th anniversary. But locals say that the block already has too many tourists. “We have at least 400 tourists a day coming to look at that building. They take pictures all day and all night. I come outside and there’s 20 people hanging out on my stoop or taking a pee around the corner,” said resident Rezar Skoda. “To close off the street or a section of the sidewalk would make it crazy.” ALSO: Courteney Cox wears a Friends shirt with a chopped-off Monica.

Warner Bros. TV is celebrating Friends' 25th anniversary with 30 replicas of the iconic orange couch that will be placed at landmarks ranging from the Grand Canyon to the Empire State Building to Stonehenge and the Eiffel Tower.
