TMC Member Forum Idol Join Date: Jan 09, 2001 Posts: 126,096	Fox's Prodigal Son found inspiration from House https://deadline.com/2019/08/prodiga...ne-1202663835/ Hugh Laurie's Dr. Gregory House character "is someone we looked to as a main character who has some trauma you can keep going back to but still care about," co-creator Sam Sklaver said at the TV press tour. Fellow co-creator Chris Fedak added that while House was about diagnosing sickness, Prodigal Son is about diagnosing psychology. Fedak also called Prodigal Son a hybrid of Sherlock and Freud.
