Disney to offer Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ as a streaming bundle for $12.99 a month

Disney CEO Bob Iger revealed the plan today at the company's quarterly earnings call. The bundle will be available starting on Nov. 12. “Nothing is more important to us than getting this right," Iger said.

Until they can provide high speed internet that is unthrottled and has no data cap (or a very high cap) it will still cost about the same as cable TV with internet in most places. These services are fine until you learn you can't ditch your cable provider.

The only time I was able to ditch my cable provider is when I had WEBTV but now there is other internet provider besides the cable companies

In some locations yes, but particularly in small towns and more rural areas not so much. Our old wired telephone offers "internet" but it is not much better than dial-up used to be.
