Question What botched storyline still bugs you?

What storyline from an otherwise great show has always bothered you? Even years later. Not enough that you stopped watching the show but "those episodes" still are hard to watch.

Fourth season of Angel. Cordelia wasn't herself the whole season. At one point, she has sex with her foster-son, Connor. It was bizarre. Total jump the shark moment.

The finale of "Monk". Almost nothing set up as clues from the first 7 seasons had any bearing on the "out-of-nowhere" ending and made Monk look like the world's dumbest detective.

When Night Court did the Phil Phil episodes. So insulting to our intelligence.

Although I wasn't a big fan I watched the final episode of Seinfeld and hated it. A sitcom should never end like that.

Even though I have turned against the series now since I became an adult, I liked MASH in it's original run. I was very disappointed that in the final episode they didn't show the characters going home and seeing the family members I had heard about for years.

I totally agree. That ending, with them going to jail, was the lamest ending I could think of.

OMG, my husband was LIVID about that episode and he would go on and on about it. I thought it was pretty stupid myself, the way they wrapped things up. He was the one who got me hooked on Monk and to have an ending like that was kind of a slap in the face.

I didn't like the finale of "The Facts of Life" at all. I didn't really care for the show all that much to begin with but after investing all that time in watching it, it just seemed to be missing a lot of things.

The Luther Mahoney shooting and fallout on Homicide: Life on the Street. All it did was destroy the good character of well established characters Meldrick Lewis and Mike Kellerman in the name of propping up "hotter and sexier" newcomer characters Paul Falsone, Laura Ballard, and Terri Stivers.

Glee, the storyline about Rachel's mother, they dropped her and Jonathan Groff too early.
