Is this a "one trick pony" type of show
What I mean is that without the stop and go/game show effect, the show would have likely never made it to air because of how bland the premise is. And I'm really not sure if the kids now-a-days have the attention span to watch this kind of show. First, there's the voting that's involved. And then they have to wait for the results and wait for the actors' reactions.
