Question Whose Career Has Disappointed You the Most?

Is there's a creator or writer or actor who let you down? You loved them and then they made crappy movies. They retired. They disappeared from movies. Something.

Richard Dreyfuss, for sure. Made his career playing adorable hot geeks and then got typecast as uptight, unlikable Yuppie scum, only to drift in and out movies with the exception of Mr. Holland's Opus.

Sandra Bullock. She was so charismatic in Speed. None of the roles came close to capturing whatever magical onscreen presence she had in that movie.

John Travolta. I was so impressed with him when he made his comeback in Pulp Fiction. It's been pretty much downhill from there.

Lori Petty. I know that Tank Girl was crap but she showed so much promise as a character actress. When I see Fight Club, I always imagine her instead of Helen Bonham Carter. I think she would've been much better.

Lili Taylor. Great in I Show Andy Warhol, and then...well, nothing much else after that.

Karl Urban. He was literally the only actor in the Star Trek reboot who completely nailed his character, and he was amazing in Almost Human. I don't understand what happened to his career. He should've been a breakout star.

Really? I LOVED her in While You Were Sleeping and she should have been nominated for an Academy Award for Hope Floats. She was amazing in that movie. I agree that she's not the same as she was when she first started out but I thought she was completely adorable in "Sleeping".

I loved Lori Petty in "A League of Their Own."

BTW, I hope it doesn't sound like I'm arguing with you because that wasn't my intention. Just giving my thoughts.

I used to like Tyler Perry when he did the Madea movies but when he started doing the movie Alex Cross and came out with the movies Good Deeds and Temptation I thought Tyler Perry was heading in a new direction and I haven't shown any interest in Tyler Perry's movies since

Jason Alexander and Michael Richards. Not really good career moves after Seinfeld.
