Tracee Ellis Ross to voice the title role in MTV's Daria spinoff series Jodie - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

The Emmy-nominated Black-ish actress will star in the first adult animated show to center on a black woman in nearly 20 years. Ross will voice Jodie Landon on the Daria spinoff Jodie, which was originally developed as Daria and Jodie. Ross says “being able to give voice to fresh, feminist and unexplored stories of young women excites me. Jodie, will spin-off from the cult classic Daria, and with the brilliant, sweet and sarcastic black girl magic that is Jodie Landon.”
