Page Six reports that King "demanded" that O'Donnell exit the CBS morning news show, a demand that came from her ongoing contract negotiations. The new CBS This Morning lineup is expected to consist of co-anchor Anthony Mason and CBS News correspondent Tony Dokoupil, Page Six reports. CBS This Morning co-anchor John Dickerson is moving to 60 Minutes. O'Donnell is expected to take over for Jeff Glor as CBS Evening News anchor, while also assuming the role of chief political anchor. Glor is expected to become a CBS News correspondent and weekend anchor. Page Six's sources blame O'Donnell for "feeding" rumors of Glor's impending exit and claim that she is seeking “Gayle King money" as part of her own contract negotiations. UPDATE: Variety is also reporting a CBS This Morning revamp with Gayle King, Anthony Mason and Tony Dokoupil.

Norah O'Donnell sidesteps reports of a CBS This Morning shakeup: "We will address them on Monday"

O'Donnell co-anchored CBS This Morning Friday without Gayle King and John Dickerson, both of whom she said will be back on Monday after being on assignment. “We are reading lots of things with great interest and I just want you to know we will address them on Monday when Gayle is back here and John as well,” she said, referring to reports that she and Dickerson are exiting the CBS morning program.

Since Thursday, Susan Zirinsky has had to deal with the fallout over a Page Six story that alleged that Gayle King pushed out O'Donnell from CBS This Morning, which she called "100 percent false." She's also dealing with the persistent rumors that O'Donnell will take over for the struggling Glor and move the CBS Evening News broadcast to Washington, D.C., where O'Donnell's husband owns a chain of restaurants. “It’s hard. I get it, but you have to stay focused," Zirinsky told CBS Evening News staffers, according to The Daily Beast. “When there’s something to tell you, I will tell you...When we’re ready, we’ll do it.”
