Default Bless This Mess is off to a good start on ABC

https://deadline.com/2019/04/bless-t...gs-1202597398/

The Lake Bell/Dax Shepard comedy built on lead-in Black-ish's demo rating Tuesday night, something that Splitting Up Together hasn't been able to do in the same timeslot.

It's a good show so far. It really gives me a Green Acres type feel to it. I was bound to watch it anyways with Dax Shepherd being the male lead.

Mom and I were channel surfing and we just happened to find Bless This Mess and we were enjoying the show when suddenly Mom shouted to me "It's Dax Shepard" and I thought he was pretty cool on Bless This Mess and I never knew that in addition to FOX's Spin The Wheel Dax also did this show. Mom and I saw the show for a few more minutes before we settled on watching The Carol Burnett Show on METV. Hopefully I can see an episode of Bless This Mess in it's entirety to get my Dax Shepard fix when Spin The Wheel does not air new episodes

I watched it for the first time tonight and it's pretty good. It definitely has a modern day Green Acres feel. They even added a cute little pig character!

Hi, Bestie! I watched the show too. They are trying to be Green Acres, I hope they get better at it. Dax is good at physical comedy. Remember him in the CHIPS movie? They should do more of that with him. Also they should watch a few episodes of Green Acres. It would help them.

Thumbs up Loving It

I've been watching this show ever since it first aired No complaints here, even gf likes it and talks about it sometimes. It's pretty awkward at times but pretty sure it's planned that way. In summation, it gets a big thumb up and this fan will be watching each and every episode even if have to watch online and download the ABC app again Really think it's a witty show and entertaining. Ed Begley, Jr. initially drew me to the show with his star power while channel surfing

I'm also enjoying the show, Lake Bell and Dax Shepard are very good in it. I also like Pam Grier's role as Constance.

The cast is unbelievable, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a spin-off or two from this show. Lots of "rich" characters to mine, no? Bravissimo

I watched it twice. The first time was with the cute pig and a cute goat was in the ep. I think that was the only reason I liked this show? Watched it again last week and thought it was horrible. Not funny at all, the characters that are supposed to he small town country people do not seem that way at all. Bad acting , really bad script last week, the women all going to Gynechologist appointments together!! Very crude episode IMO !

I don't think this show is like Green Acres at all except for the animals!

Green Acres is more slapstick, whimsical imo. BTM seems quite grounded, almost biographical, a modern take on Iliad or Canterbury Tales?
