AMC Networks' Sarah Barnett, who oversees AMC, SundanceTV, BBC America and IFC, tells Vulture the Season 5 delay is "driven by talent needs, which we would not override if it would result in a worse show." Why is Better Call Saul not returning until 2020? Season 5 filming is about to begin, according to Rhea Seehorn's tweet from Saturday. Yet as AMC Networks president Sarah Barnett explained to Vulture, Season 5 won't air until next year. What is the reason for the delay? Could it be the rumored Breaking Bad movie? Or is AMC avoiding airing Better Call Saul this fall with The Walking Dead? |
