Here are some obscure/short lived shows that have been released complete on DVD:

Blondie sitcom from 1957.

Honey West, 1965-66 TV series.

Good Morning World, 1967-68 sitcom.

Lotsa Luck, 1973-74 sitcom.

Van Dyke And Company, 1976 variety show hosted by Dick Van Dyke.

My Mother the Car, It's About Time, Tabitha and Angie are also obscure short-lived TV shows from the 60s and 70s that got released. Square Pegs is also relatively obscure from the 80s and it got released. It's amazing that these shows get released while shows like The Beverly Hillbillies and My Three Sons have yet to be even released in full.

Yes, My Mother The Car and It's About Time are two more 60's sitcoms that surprisingly got a DVD release. I don't know why The Beverly Hillbillies hasn't been completed yet, that series should have been completed a long time ago. With My Three Sons, I think there might be some rights issues with music that was used in the show and the DVD's were stalled after two seasons. I would like to see the 3rd season of The Flying Nun finally get released, but I'm losing hope that it will happen.

The Beverly Hillbillies, along with Happy Days, are two shows I don't know why weren't completed long ago. I know Happy Days has "music issues" but CBS hugely edits the music on the DVD releases so it shouldn't be much of a problem but I'd prefer to have the music intact. I think My Three Sons is one that CBS has probably forgotten about by now, and while I don't think the music clearances would be astronomical for that show, there probably is some required, who knows. As for The Flying Nun, I'd like to see that one released too. It's always a disappointment when shows on DVD are left with only one season to go like that, may as well have just released the last season.

Sony released seasons 1 and 2 of The Flying Nun in 2006, so at the time I fully expected season 3 to be released also, but it never happened. I do have the season 3 episodes, I recorded them in 2011 from Antenna TV when the channel was new and they weren't doing those credit crunches. The bad thing is, the episodes are heavily edited so of course I'd prefer to have the uncut episodes released from the studio. I'm surprised another studio like Shout Factory hasn't stepped up and finished this series.

Every time I’m reminded that “The Beverly Hillbillies” and “Petticoat Junction” aren’t completed on DVD (YET!), it just furthers my hatred towards CBS; the worst DVD company, ever.

With me it's "My Three Sons", but it's still those do-nothings at CBS. Why is it Warners can have a successful DVD release program and CBS does nothing?
