Default Amazon adds remastered Baywatch this weekend

https://www.tvguide.com/news/baywatc...me-remastered/

With the 30th anniversary of David Hasselhoff's 1989-2001 lifeguard series approaching, Amazon Prime is adding Baywatch to its lineup starting on Sunday.

Wish this would be on Netflix or TV again. We don’t get Amazon Prime unfortunately.

The first season, which for years was not included in the syndication package, is included on Amazon. And they’ve re-edited the credits (particularly the fonts) and the closing credits so they look like the other seasons.

Wonder if all the music will be there.

Baywatch is an eye-popping sexy revelation in HD

The remastered HD version of the hit 1990s lifeguard series was added to Amazon Prime earlier this month. "This is the first time the show, which I would enthusiastically describe as sexless softcore porn, has been available to stream, and revisiting this remastered series has been a trip," says Brett White. "The sun, surf, and sand are all crystal clear, and the fantastically garish early ’90s neon of every bikini will push modern TVs to their limit. They’ve never handled color like this before! The HD-ness of it all really pops during the Season 6 premiere, 'Trapped Beneath the Sea part 1,' an episode I immediately jumped to for one reason: David Chokachi in a swim brief." ALSO: Mila Kunis and Bryan Cranston are among the stars you probably didn't know were on Baywatch.

I read that the deliberately replaced some of the music so the show would seem more contemporary.

For whatever reason I didn't watch this show in the nineties, but I'm watching season 2 on Prime and so far I haven't recognized any of the music on the show. It's very bland and generic. I was a teenager in the 90s so I expected the music montages to be music from the era. Was the music when it originally aired this boring, bland, muzak type stuff or pop hits from the 90s?
