Is it true that there's an episode where Richard Dawson actually mentions Ray Combs by name (and plugs the then-new Game Show Network) in response to a viewer's letter saying "I don't like you and I don't like the other guy who ran the Feud"? Apparently, GSN had to have gone through the entire 1994-95 run a few times over in 1997-98, when that was the only version of Feud they could show. They lost the rights to all the Goodson-Todman shows at the time, but the 1994-95 version of FF was available. As with Price is Right, it was on a different contract since it was still running first run episodes when GSN premiered.
