"It was something that we planned to do from the beginning when we first went into the writers’ room in May because of the angry rhetoric that was being directed toward the press, which I found shocking,” says Diane English of last night's episode, featuring real footage of a Trump rally, which was in response to the president's hostility to the media. “Then it escalated from there as we saw journalists get body-slammed by a politician and we saw the president, at his rallies, encouraging all of this vitriol against the press and CNN in particular — and even very recently saying that he would admire somebody that would body-slam a journalist.”

It sounds like the people who work on the Murphy Brown revival are an "angry rhetoric." Good thing it's being cancelled (excuse me, Diane English, "not being renewed.")

Trump inspired the ENTIRE reboot not just one episode. They gripe about him but look at all the money the liberals have made off of his presidency.

Well, Diane, the press is obsessed with him...OCD, they can't help themselves. It's called TDS. If they'd get back to reporting the news, a truce would be in effect. Not gonna happen.
