TMC Member Forum Idol Join Date: Jan 09, 2001 Posts: 124,604	Report: Netflix almost canceled GLOW over disappointing Season 1 viewership https://tvline.com/2018/11/19/glow-c...tflix-ratings/ A recent Wall Street Journal article detailing the conflict between the creative-focused executives at Netflix and the the techies who follow the algorithm revealed the potential GLOW cancelation, according to TVLine. “There were serious conversations from the tech side pressuring the Hollywood side not to renew it for a second season,” a source told the paper. The creative executives, of course, won out. The Journal also says that GLOW's Jenji Kohan had blamed the (alleged) low viewership on Netflix's initial marketing campaign.
