I like both and I’m a diehard DAYS fan but I think Susan is the better of the two.

I voted for Susan. She's one of the few soap actresses that everybody knows, even if they never watched her as Erica Kane on All My Children, mainly because her Emmy Award losses were so ballyhooed (until she finally won in 1999)! Susan transcended being merely a soap opera actress in the public consciousness, and made a fortune doing commercials, movies-of-the-week and episodic television appearances, not to mention public speaking engagements, her own skin care line and fragrances and authoring a bestselling memoir.

This is very tough. Both good actresses I never watched All My Children and I'm a huge Days fan and Deidre Hall can act her heart out especially when she plays Hattie. Susan Lucci was awesome in that commecial when she comes down the stairs and I liked her when she fought one of the ladies on Hot In Cleveland. Tough Tough Tough. Don't know.

Susan. If there is one soap star even non-soap watchers know about: it's Susan. And I LOVED when she won the Emmy! That was such a great moment. That said, Deidre is the better actress and certainly is hailed as one of the great soap actresses of all-time.

Does anyone remember a Lifetime movie from the 90s called Ebbie? She was the main character Elizabeth "Ebbie" Scrooge.

I checked to see if it would be on this year and nothing has showed up. In years past though, INSP and Hallmark have also shown the movie.

Susan Lucci will always be the most famous actress of the two. It's only because Susan is a running gag for how many times it takes to win an award for what she calls acting I think the only reason she won it the year she did was because they felt pity on her for how many times they pointed out her acting isn't worth awarding. Erica Kane is an ok character but All My Children had far more astonishing characters with performers that blew Susan away. I watched AMC for almost 20 years and never saw anything from Susan that was Emmy worthy. You look at Robin Mattson, Kate Collins, Marj Dusay, David Canary, Jill Larson, and other performers who actually acted and you see they put effort into what they presented for fans. All Susan had to do a lot of time was lay on her back with a different man every week. It wasn't anything worthwhile to see.
