Baldwin didn't speak to reporters following his release from the NYPD's 10th Precinct after his arrest for allegedly punching a man in a parking dispute. An NYPD spokesperson said Baldwin was given a desk appearance ticket, meaning he will go before a judge on the charges at a later date. Baldwin tweeted about his arrest, denying reports he punched a man. "Normally, I would not comment on something as egregiously misstated as today’s story," he tweeted. "However, the assertion that I punched anyone over a parking spot is false. I wanted to go on the record stating as much. I realize that it has become a sport to tag people w as many negative... negative charges and defaming allegations as possible for the purposes of clickbait entertainment." In another tweet, Baldwin added: "Fortunately, no matter how reverberating the echos, it doesn’t make the statements true." ALSO: ABC White House correspondent Tara Palmeri tweets that Baldwin once told her "I hope you choke to death" when she was on assignment outside his home as always New York Post reporter.
