No question Walter was the better husband. However, Stan was an interesting character. He wasn't a good husband, but we still liked him (at least I did) and I think Dorothy and the other girls liked him too. Sure he was not good, but he did have his good moments.

Walter was a much better husband to Maude than Stan was to Dorothy. However; Stan was taller than Dorothy AND they somehow stayed married for 38 years which it's hard to imagine the Findlays matching!
