While CBS is planning to develop new “new series, miniseries and other content opportunities, including animation" based on the Star Trek franchise, producers are intent on avoiding oversaturation. As Star Trek franchise boss Alex Kurtzman tells TrekMovie: “You have a good meal and then decide to take a walk before you have your dessert. That’s how to look at it.”

Not all of us Star Wars fans believe there have been mistakes or franchise "fatigue", whatever that's supposed to mean. I'm just saying.
