Since I found out that Miranda from Sex and the City was made to dye her blonde hair for the role, it made me wonder why 2 of the Angels were brunettes instead of one brown and one red.

And they did always want a redhead. Tanya Roberts actually did her screen test as a redhead.

Well, wasn't the original idea to have a blonde woman, brunette woman, and redheaded woman? This was back when the series wasn't going to be called Charlie's Angels, but Alley Cats.
