Dewan is already busy starring on the Netflix musical drama series Mixtape and Fox's The Resident. The actress announced her departure as host of the NBC dance reality competition, but said she might return as a mentor.

A pity that she leaves! She's one of my favorites and have been a fan of her since her 2006 movie, Step Up with Channing Tatum. Looking forward to her new Netflix show though.

At Least Jenna Dewan was great as the World of Dance host. hope the show continues with a new host.
