The new CBS drama revolving around the Federal Bureau of Investigation follows the "general Dick Wolf Productions blueprint" while avoiding all the controversies surrounding the FBI in recent years, says Daniel Fienberg. "It's all just straightforward follow-the-clues, rinse and repeat, with no real twists or high drama, but a steady pace," he says, adding: "If enough viewers watch the first episode, you can bet that plans for FBI: Los Angeles and FBI: Chicago and FBI: Miami will begin almost immediately."
