I can't believe that Richard Mulligan was actually married to an adult film actress in the early '90s (in the middle of Empty Nest's run). And apparently, she was still doing porn while they were married! I can’t believe that NBC let this happen and didn’t make a stink about him doing this. Maybe it's because it was pre-internet and pre-TMZ they thought the average retiree watching this would not know.

Big deal. If them two adults were happy and didn't make it out like "Empty Nest staring porn star husband Richard Mulligan!", then who really cares? Besides, who is NBC (or anyone in the industry) to point fingers, when they all got cemeteries in the closet? Leave people be.

Wasn't he married to Rachel Ryan? I don't want to Google it as I'm afraid of what may pop up. I'm not into that kind of stuff (cough, cough).
