CBS' Pink Collar Crimes, Fox's Love Connection, CBS' Salvation and ABC's The Gong Show had among the worst demo ratings this summer.

The Gong Show is horrible and I was a big fan of the original show. Big mistake is the host who is the actor in Austin Powers as another character, like Tony Clifton as a game show host. Bad.

I also think the Gong Show could only be done in the 1970's with Chuck Barris as host. Syndicated show with much less competition, usually shown early on the weekends, at least in my market.

Love Connection deserves to be cancelled by FOX because the Andy Cohen version just had its sophomore slump. I miss the reruns of the original version(especially all episodes prior to 1993).

CBS needs to remove Pink Collar Crimes, Salvation, Whistleblower & 48 Hours:NCIS

I think The Gong Show will be the only ABC Summer Show to get axed

For me Love Connection deserves to be cancelled because it got renewed and a much superior show Superhuman didn't after season 1. I don't usually like reality but Superhuman was a rare reality show worth watching. Plus Love Connection had a lot stronger lead-in with season 1 of Beat Shazam, while So You Think You Can Dance did not help Superhuman at all. If their nights had been switched their renewal prospects for season 2 would have also been switched.

I agree with you catsrule, I'll be glad when FOX pulls the plug on the Cohen version of LC.
