Jeopardy!'s Twitter account sparked speculation with a video of Trebek with a beard, tweeting: "Stay tuned for a surprise bigger than the beard."

I assume because Alex Trebek wants to have a beard that's why. What more reason do you want?

He should stay with the bearded look. He looks better with a beard compared to when he's clean shaven.

I would consider keeping only a mustache rather than both a mustache and a beard if I were the Alex Trebek that the user under the named "TMC" was probably referencing earlier (the host of a certain program named "Jeopardy!").

Wouldn't that be funny if all game show hosts grew beards? Like really long bushy Amish or Rabbi type beards !! Or ZZTOP type beards!!
