Long story short, Moesha was on the rebound from Hakeem (after catching he and Niecy kiss) when she hooked back up with Q. In Q's last episode ("All this & Turkey too"), he and Moesha broke off their engagement after disagreeing on Mo's engagement ring. Q wanted to sell the engagement ring to finance some new rap group he was producing. Mo viewed the ring as a symbol of their love and commitment. She wanted to keep the ring and find alternative ways for Q to fund his group. Q felt Mo was being materialistic and selfish by keeping the ring. By the episode's end, the two called off their engagement and split for good.

Neither! Both were being selfish it only proved they was too young for marriage. I wish they kept moving forward in that music world. I was ready for a new direction. BRANDY was ready to leave the show, once the parkers and girlfriends started getting more popular she was allowed to leave. The show was never cancelled.
