The Wuzzles was indeed the first cartoon that Disney Television Animation debuted in 1985 and debuted on NBC's Saturday Morning cartoon lineup and although it paved the way for Disney to make more cartoons like The Adventures Of The Gummi Bears. But it was actually DuckTales that became Disney Television Animation's biggest hit and become the Caesar's Empire for Disney's new at the time television animation studios. While The Wuzzles was a neat cartoon it wasn't as successful as they hoped but if it wasn't for The Wuzzles Disney would never had cartoon hits like DuckTales Chip And Dale Rescue Rangers Talespin and many others. Now known as DisneyToon Studios they now have cartoons like Elena Of Avalor Tangled The Series and other computer animated cartoons Disney Television Animation is still the best in cartoons

I certainly wouldnt call Disney television animation the best in cartoons these days, when all they produce are awful cgi cartoons aimed at toddlers to preteens these days. Cartoon Network Studios took Disneys crown and still produces cel animation as well as CG and has series aimed at all age groups from 1-100.
