Smallville may have been Clark Kent's story, but the casting choices for his friends and foes could leave a lot to be desired.

20 HURT - Alan Ritchson as Arthur Curry (Aquaman) - meh I thought he was OK
19 HELP - Jensen Ackles as some one-off character - he wasn't bad, but he was just the bad guy in a single episode so who cares?
18 HURT - Ian Somerhalder - I guess if you like him as an actor you might disagree, I have never watched the vampire show so I don't care either way
17 HELP - Sam Jones as Pete Ross, I too think they under used this character
16 HURT - Alaina Huffman as Black Canary - definitely a terrible portrayal and waste of an awesome character
15 HELP - John Schneider as Jonathan Kent - how can you disagree with this, he was made to play this character
14 HURT - James Marsters as Brainiac - I don't know he was pretty good at first but they really dragged the whole story line out too long
13 HELP - Justin Hartley as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow - he was OK for the most part, but his romance with Lois was painful and stupid
12 HURT - Sam Witwer as Davis Bloome / Doomsday never worked
11 HELP - Annette O'Toole as Martha Kent was the perfect choice
10 HURT - Eric Johnson as Whitney - this was just silly and I felt sorry for the guy
9 HELP - Aaron Ashmore as Jimmy Olsen was good until the nonsense at the end
8 HURT - Laura Vandervoort as Kara Zor El / Supergirl - i disagree with this one, I thought she did pretty good
7 HELP - Tomm Welling as Clark Kent - this made the show a success, of course he was a good choice
6 HURT - Cassidy Freeman as Tess Mercer - winced every time she was onscreen, still don't know if she was good or bad, jut painful to watch
5 HELP - John Glover as Lionel Luther - he was good as a bad guy, a little too good, but he had some corny scenes too
4 HURT - Kristin Kreuk as Lana Lang - disagree with this one too. she wasn't a bad ctor, just they dragged the storyline out too long and had some terrible writing
3 HELP - Michael Rosenbaum as Lex Luthor - could not imagine anyone else playing him, and all the other actors before and since will always have to live up to him; of course I am pretty sure that Jesse Eisenburg has no idea who Lex Luthor is and for some reason decided to play the character as some weird combination of the villains from the 60's Batman TV series
2 HURT - Allison Mack as Chloe Sullivan - this is stupid - how can an original character created for the series be "miscast" ?
1 HELP - Erica Durance - at first I couldn't even see how she could play such an iconic character, but then she did it like no one else; she even managed to flesh out and expand the character in a way that completely worked.
