She had a crappy childhood. I'm glad she got help, but even after this interview, she went back to drugs, and then back into rehab.

I'm not sure she knows what "Catholicism" is. She mentions it at the end of this interview, but she was Jewish at the time.

She married a Jew and I wonder if she was a Messianic Jew? Since her character Nell Harper was a Protestant...while the Kaniskis were Catholic.

Were there many times in the show where Nell's drug use was obvious? What I mean is that could act really hyper, talk a mile a minute, and her eyes were all wide and buggy. She apparently, frequently did coke in her dressing room on the set.
