According to The Daily Mail, "the minute-long clip - posted to Twitter on Sunday night - was frantically removed by the BBC, but not before fans rushed to condemn the guilty party for trying to kill the anticipation of seeing the Thirteenth Doctor in action." |

BBC goes to court in U.S. to find who leaked a Jodie Whittaker Doctor Who clip
BBC Studios is asking the federal court in California to help find the person who leaked a 53-second unfinished clip last week of Whittaker's Doctor Who and two unreleased still images. BBC Studios is trying to get the California-based Tapatalk, the message board where the leaked footage was first shared, to reveal the identity of the leaker. BBC Studios said that it "will strive to protect our program-makers, audiences and license fee payers from any breaches of security -- ensure Doctor Who fans enjoy the final and fully completed version of the episode when it premieres." |

whoever leaked it should be punished, although the "anticipation" is completely over-rated, at least in the US.
the next episode of Doctor Who is still 6 months away, assuming BBC America still exists; they will continue to show a maximum of 3 shows non-stop until then - Planet Earth, X-Files, and Star Trek:TNG with the odd terrible 90's movie thrown in. Their ratings must be a negative number by now. I don't see how they can even justify staying on the air any more with an average of 30 hours of new programming per year. |
