CBS launches TKO "Total Knockout" July 11th - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

During the finale of Survivor Ghost Island CBS announced news of a brand new summer game show that will make it's debut July 11th. The new game show will be named TKO "Total Knockout" and will be hosted by actor/comedian Kevin Hart. From what I saw of the previews of this new game show TKO "Total Knockout looks like a cross of Nickelodeon Guts for adults and Minute To Win It. After the disappointment of last year's summer game show Candy Crush hopefully CBS will learn it's lesson and have a summer success with this new game show because it's about time CBS has a primetime game show and not focus so much on their daytime game shows The Price Is Right and Let's Make A Deal. It will be interesting to see what game show skills Kevin Hart will show on his game show debut

Hi, Bestie! I saw the previews too. Do you know if Kevin Hart has hosted any game shows before? I will try to watch the first episode, and I will also read your review of it. I agree with you that hopefully CBS can get a good game show.

CBS is sure promoting TKO Total Knockout like crazy because it seems that during LMAD there's a lot of commercials for it. So I expect CBS to have a monster hit with this show this Summer. I think Kevin Hart will be the biggest comedian and actor in movies and TV due to TKO Total Workout being his first game show

I saw part of TKO Total Knockout and let me tell you this. TKO Total Knockout is a rip-off of Minute To Win It and reminded me of a version of Nickelodeon Guts for adults. I don't know how CBS designed this game show but it was very weak from what I saw of it and also I can see the contestants getting injured from doing some of the challenges. Take for instance I saw lots of contestants falling down and in fact one of the challenges seemed to get inspiration from ABC's Wipeout and doesn't seem safe at all because I saw the contestants falling off the balls. I don't know why CBS put a lot of effort into promoting this game show because I guess CBS expects TKO Total Knockout to be a huge Summer monster hit but I can see this show lasting a week then getting cancelled. Not to mention that Kevin Hart is the most annoying host for TKO Total Knockout and someone like Chris Jericho or Dwayne Johnson or even Oscar De La Hoya could've have better than Kevin Hart. This show could've been better and if TKO Total Knockout is renewed for a second season it could use some improvements to the show to make it worth watching

About 4 million watched the premiere of the reality competition.
