Default 'Family Guy': Religion Just 'Blind Subservience to an Imaginary Being'

In Sunday night’s episode of Fox’s Family Guy, “Are You There God? It’s Me, Peter,” Peter Griffin meets a very vulgar God while in a coma and eventually learns that God doesn’t exist, which is unsurprising for the show created by notorious atheist Seth MacFarlane. The conversation between the two ranges from God’s non-existence to God’s statement that humans are reincarnated as other animals and humans to God’s misconduct with some angels.

Oh No

After this season...I'm done with Family Guy! Ironically...It's the season finale.

I saw this ep VERY tasteless...Blind Subservience to an Imaginary Being? Another ep where Seth MacFarlene HAS Peter Griffing be an arrogant *******!

Enough is Enough! I may rant about this on another page!

Regardless of religious beliefs, this show is disgusting. I stopped watching after the first few episodes.

Last nights' episode was garbage. Peter as always was an a-hole and will always be one.

That why after Season 16...enough is enough!

Brian and Stewie make Family Guy better and though Brian can be an atheist *******...you feel bad for him too since he goes through **** and seems unloved.

If there were more Brian and Stewie eps, I'd watch but since there's more Peter Griffin eps and not even that many Chris or Meg eps...it became unwatchable...and yes...God is more stronger than a TV Show!

To honest, I don't feel bad Brian. Have you ever seen Brian recently. He has become a monster himself. There are so many horrible things he has done too many mention but here are some. He has given Stewie herpes, sold out his own kind in the stock market and almost commited statuatory rape on Patty. He did all this without a care in the world. So I wouldn't mind more Stewie solo episodes. Seeing Brian and Stewie all the time gets tiresome, boring and repetative. Not all Brian and Stewie episodes are gold so I wouldn't mind if there differant teams and not just Brian and Stewie. And after, wasn't this show suppose to be about a family and not a smug, arrogant dog and a genuis baby?

Brian may be an *******, but he tries to right himself and learns his lessons half the time. And if he can't...he has some consciousness.

Peter is just an ignorant *******...and his friends are none the wiser...especially Quagmire.

Anyhow...I'm done with this show! Though Family Guy isn't my show of the year I love to hate...that goes to Teen Titans GO!...It's NOT on my Top-16 List any longer....
