TV ABC Boss Asked if they Regret Canceling "Last Man Standing"

During ABC's upfront press call this morning, ABC Entertainment Chief Channing Dungey was asked if ABC regretted cancelling Tim Allen multi-cam comedy "Last Man Standing" two seasons back

Dungey defending canceling "Last Man Standing" noting the network, “made the best decision with the information we had at the time…unfortunately, we were not able to come to terms with our studio partners … I wish them every success with their return on Fox.

^^^ And now the Roseanne show is no more. Do they want people to watch their network or not?

God bless you always!!!

This Dungey lady sounds like a real dumbass.

Not sorry 'bout it. Just call 'em as I see 'em.

Hollywood doesn’t care if Conservatives get ratings. They have an agenda to push. Hopefully there’s a place Conservatives can go to perform after the mainstream casts them aside.

Someone would have to start such a network but I think they'd be surprised at the ratings it would get. I find all the current late night talk shows disgusting because it is constant bashing and disrespect for our current President. The way we do things in the US is by elections and accepting the outcome and respecting the office. These people on TV now actively root against the President even though he has opened peace talks with North Korea and the economic numbers are very good. Their dislike of the man makes me wonder if they hope he fails at getting N. Korea to stop firing nuclear missiles toward Japan.

If they really don't, they should because they are still a good deal of the viewing public. I could be wrong, but I believe the goal s to attract as many people as possible, not make them get up and take their business elsewhere.

God bless you always!!!

Hollywood caters only to the East and West coast tastes. They couldn't care less about the rest of the country.

Take the South, for example--how many sitcoms are set in the South? I can only think of two -- Alice (with only Flo and her replacements who were from the South), and Designing Women (I don't know anyhting about that one).

Here are some, there may be more. There are more dramas than comedies set in the South.

"The Dukes of Hazzard" was in a fictional Georgia county.

Tyler Perry's "House of Payne" and "Meet the Browns" set in Atlanta, Georgia.

"The Carmichael Show" in Charlotte, NC.
