...directed episode
https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/li...awford-1111876 Some fans of the Fox series took to social media to blame Wayans for getting Crawford fired -- so much so that Wayans turned his Twitter and Instagram accounts private over the weekend. With his Twitter account still private on Monday night, Wayans posted footage of him being struck in the head with shrapnel from an episode that led Crawford, the episode's director, to be reprimanded. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Wayans also shared a tweet of a photo that "featured a bloody cut on the opposite side of his head, seemingly questioning his on-set safety during the episode directed by Crawford. A third tweet implies a potential reason for how the multiple injuries occurred, with Wayans tagging Crawford and using the hashtag #NoApology." Three weeks ago, Deadline reported Wayans and Crawford stopped speaking to each other in wake of the incident, adding: "Following the shrapnel incident, Wayans was sent home for the day and when he returned to work, he set limitations to what he was willing to do in the episode, even if it was in the script, including not holding a gun or running down stairs, citing safety concerns. I hear that led to an argument with Crawford, with Crawford using strong words to tell Wayans how he felt about him." ALSO: Lethal Weapon's renewal is for 13 episodes, not a full-season 22.
