I think this would come in handy particularly for shows that seem to bounce around in syndication.

Speaking of syndicated shows, here's a little tidbit that I can't seem to figure out. A hit series normally should be able to hit syndication after 4 seasons or 100 episodes (or 88 in the modern era). Yet while I was looking at my online TV guide recently, I noticed that the ABC sitcom Speechless, which is just wrapping up only its 2nd season and has only aired 40 episodes so far, is already running 5 days a week on the Canadian Family Channel at 8:30 pm. That doesn't make sense to me yet it's a tremendous bonus for Canadian fans of the series. I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happens next season with Young Sheldon. I can handle watching it every day.

I found a list of the major syndication companies on the Ranker website and the shows they carry on Wikipedia and their various homepages. Here's the list of sitcoms carried by each one that I've been able to find:
20th Television ---part of 20th Century Fox, which should now really be 21st Century Fox, but anyway.... Sitcoms offered: The Simpsons, MASH, The Cleveland Show, Last Man Standing. How I Met Your Mother, American Dad, Bob's Burgers. King Of The Hill, Modern Family, Family Guy CBS Television Distribution/Paramount Pictures Full List Of Shows FilmRise Roseanne, 3rd Rock From The Sun, A Different World, Grounded For Life, Grace Under Fire FremantleMedia The leading supplier of TV Game Shows, including Match Game, Family Feud, and The Price Is Right, plus the cable channel Buzzr and all the shows that they feature. Lionsgate Television Full List MGM The Addams Family, The Debbie Reynolds Show, Green Acres, Mr Ed, My Mother The Car, The Patty Duke Show, The Pink Panther Show. Sony/Columbia/Screen Gems Full List Warner Brothers ----best known for their great Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies cartoon library, they also own the entire Hanna-Barbera catalogue Full List |
