TMC Member Forum Idol Join Date: Jan 09, 2001 Posts: 125,657	Tig Notaro boards Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/li...covery-1101648 The comedian and former One Mississippi star will guest-star on the CBS All Access drama as chief engineer Denise Reno of the USS Hiawatha, which was briefly mentioned in a Star Trek video game as an Akula-class ship affiliated with the Federation Starfleet. As is Star Trek: Discovery custom, the announcement of her role didn't reveal how many episodes she'll appear in. Notaro is coming off of Season 2 of her autobiographical Amazon series One Mississippi, which was canceled in January. She also directed Jessica Williams and Phoebe Robinson's recent 2 Dope Queens specials for HBO.
