"In the last year and a half, the reaction to The West Wing has been phenomenal," Sheen said of the Trump administration creating new fans of his TV presidency. "I think it has been a source of inspiration and comfort to a lot of people. It is, in essence, a parallel universe." Asked by the Los Angeles Times if he'd like to revisit his famous role, Sheen said: "I don't know how much time I've got left. But I wouldn't mind spending it making a positive contribution in a public way. That would be very satisfying."
