Alexander's latest tweet is this...

"For 30 years I’ve held in the embarrassment and shame of being abused daily on the set of Charles in Charge. I had to watch other children be abused as well. It was devastating, destroyed me personally and made me an angry person for many years. I’m not embarrassed anymore. RT!"

What's stopping Mr. Baio from at least saying he's sorry abuse has happened and hoping Mr. Polinsky finds his peace? I mean, he's had no problems dumping on folks publically the last few years via that online deal.

Because I don't know either of them from Adam nor was within a thousand miles of their set.

However; as a former colleague (and possible friend) of Mr. Polinsky's, it would have been nice for Mr. Baio to have at least said he was sorry to hear of these things and wished him well!

I mean, Mr. Baio has NOT been a shy wallflower when it comes to dumping on folks so what would it hurt him to at least attempt to be positive when someone has given him an opportunity to do so.

Pretty much. We know the characters they play but that's about it.

Who’s to say that there was abuse? I have a sibling who claims he was abused as a child and it’s absolute bull****. He’s been an attention whore all his life.

This Alexander Polinsky may be the same way.

As usual, this tabloid/media organization is taking the side of the man involved rather than the woman accusing the man of being a sexual predator. Their favorite game is to bring up as many bad things about this back in the day B+ list actress as they can find, while only finding positive things to say about this back in the day A list actor. TMZ/Scott Baio/Nicole Eggert

Maybe if she didn't keep changing her story more would believe her.

I follow Alexander on twitter and saw all of this as it happened in real time. He is a very successful voice-over actor and teaches courses now. Seems that things weren't so peachy-keen at the Charles in Charge set. Wonder what Willie Aames has to say about all this?

Amen.

As far as the "taking sides" issue, that's irrelevant in these matters -- remember that the burden of proof falls on the accuser. That's the way things will always be. If a case is to be made against Baio, the accusers will have to get their act together, or leave it all in the past. The choice is theirs. They need to be cautious of libel and slander as well.

Nicole Eggert files a police report accusing Scott Baio of sexually assaulting her
TMZ reports that actor Alexander Polinsky, who played Eggert’s younger brother on Charles in Charge, accompanied her as Eggert discussed her allegations Baio with LAPD detectives.
