7. Leslie Winkle - "because she pushes Sheldon's buttons" ? OK, she hasn't been on the show very often, but they used the character well when they did

6. Zack Johnson - "because he's dumb and that rub's hardcore fans the wrong way" - another character only seen once in the past few seasons, and when he did show up this past season, he wasn't the one that looked stupid.

5. Barry Kripke - "because he's sometimes annoying"

4. Dr. Ramona Nowitzki - "because she tried to interfere in Amy & Sheldon's relationship", which of course then provoked Sheldon to finally ask Amy to marry him

3. Dr. Beverly Hofstadter - because she "had very strong opinions on how to raise her little boy, and, oh, how they have played into his modern-day personality.”

2. Sheldon Cooper - because "he can be annoying" - isn't that the whole point?

1. Leonard Hofstadter - because when he "isn’t obsessing over his relationship with Penny, he’s letting Sheldon walk all over him" and he's "one of the most annoying sitcom characters of all time" - uh, OK so he's not assertive and he's kind of a nerdy wimp - again, isn't that the whole point?
