What is the song that is played when Kevin is giving and receiving messages during the class with a girl that he invited to the party? Is a song that talks about message or something like that....

Bernardo83,
I haven't seen that show in years, but if you're talking about the one in which Kevin and Lisa Berlini (I think) were passing notes to each other in class, I believe it was "The Letter" by the Boxtops. Later, Art P.S. I hope my memory is serving correctly. |

Tvfreak2321,
That's not the song that was played during that note-passing scene in the classroom. The "hint" you provided indicates the show's opening theme -- Joe Cocker's cover of the Beatles' "With A Little Help From My Friends. " Later, Art |

Hi all,
If we're still talking about the scene in which Kevin & Lisa Berlini were passing notes back and forth to each other in class, the song was definitely "The Letter" by the Box Tops. And Ginahampster, I don't recall "Time In A Bottle" ever being used in The Wonder Years. That song is by Jim Croce, by the way. Later, Art |

Artfiore1 is right, the name of the song is "The Letter". However it wasn't the Box Tops version, it was actually Joe Cocker's version of the song. In any case, it's definitely a great song.

Brad,
Are you sure about that? I would bet anything that it was the Box Tops' version that was used. Later, Art |

Yeah I just watched, and taped the episode recently on Fox Family, and it definitely wasn't the Box Tops version.
