He's a Christian actually and appears to have dropped back from the acting scene for a while, though he did make an appearance on "Horace & Pete" in 2016. He's been going to college at University of Colorado Boulder and he is President of Entertainment at Tonite, an events company cofounded by Justin Combs (son of Sean "Diddy" Combs).

One thing the 'looper' item got wrong: in the first few seasons Jake wasn't lazy and dim-witted. They didn't make that brilliant change until around the third season...maybe when they thought the cute wore off.
