Sorry, but I don't think they sound anything alike. Maybe it's just coincidence.

They definitely don't sound alike. There's a very brief similarity in one line of the lyrics of the choruses of both songs:

Together Again:
Everywhere I go, every smile I see
I know you are there smilin' back at me
Dancin in moonlight I know you are free
'Cause I can see your star shinin' down on me

Everywhere You Look:
Everywhere you look, everywhere you go
There's a heart, a hand to hold onto.
Everywhere you look, everywhere you go
There's a place, of somebody who needs you

I would not call this "ripped off".

Is she the one who wrote the song? When something like this happens the writers in my opinion, are who should be in the hot seat because every song starts through them.
